Crested Butte Premiere of "Unbeaten" is February 13 at 6 p.m.
The Adaptive Sports Center is proud to welcome award-winning producer Gregory Strom and Oz Sanchez (Paralympic gold medalist and fastest man in the world in a hand cycle) to Crested Butte to premiere "Unbeaten." "Unbeaten" is an inspirational story that chronicles the exploits of 31 paraplegics for six days, as they make their way in wheelchairs and hand cycles in what is known as the toughest road race in the world, “Sadler’s Alaska Challenge.”
The film will be presented at the Mountaineer Square Ballroom on February 13 at 6 p.m. Entrance is $5 at the door and include a bidder number for the Go Adaptive Silent Auction. For more information, check out our webpage or call 97.349.5075.

The Adaptive Sports Center and Crested Butte Mountain Resort would like to extend a special offer to you and your family. From January 3, 2010 until February 12, 2010 the 4’s are all free! Purchase 3 nights of lodging and receive your 4th night of lodging for free. To sweeten it up for those who are travelling by air, buy 3 airline tickets and receive the 4th airline ticket free.
Adaptive ski, snowboard and ski bike lessons (includes instruction, lift tickets and equipment) with the ASC are discounted for the first 3 days, with the 4th day free. And finally, with a purchase of 3 days of lift tickets, family members receive their 4th day of skiing at CBMR for free!

7 Hours of the Banana and The Tropical Obstacle Presented by the ASC and the Crested Butte Ski Club February 27, 2010 - 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Join us for 7 Hours of the Banana, an event benefiting two Crested Butte non-profit organizations: the Adaptive Sports Center and the Crested Butte Ski Club!
7 Hours of the Banana is a lift-accessed endurance-style event on Crested Butte Mountain Resort’s “Banana,” one of the mountain’s most extreme runs. Participants will ride the Silver Queen chairlift, traverse over to the Banana, ski or snowboard down, and repeat! Endurance athletes are encouraged to sign up solo or as a team, wear a costume and collect pledges to benefit the ASC and the CBSC. Various prize categories will be awarded, including the most laps completed and the most money raised.
The Tropical Obstacle is a just-for-fun challenge/obstacle ski course open from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Buckley (accessed from the West Wall lift). Children and families with enjoy navigating rollers, ski gates, banked turns, and more. No timing equipment will be used; this is the fun division!
