What led you to join the ASC team? I moved to the Gunnison Valley in June of 2023 after living in Bend, OR for 5 years. There, I worked both in the non-profit world as well as in the outdoor industry as an Office Manager at a guide service. Upon moving, I was hoping to find a job that could pull from both of those experiences- I wanted to continue helping folks get outside, but I was seeking something more community and people-centered. The Adaptive Sports Center seemed like a great way to combine all of my experience and interests. Helping folks find the confidence to get out of their comfort zones and try new outdoor activities fills my cup. I was really drawn to ASC’s mission, and am psyched to get to work with people from all different backgrounds. 2. What is your favorite part about working for the ASC? The people! Between the staff members, volunteers, and participants, there is no shortage of good people. I love learning from everyone involved in the organization and hearing their stories. 3. What’s a fun fact about you? I have a hound dog named Margot who rules my world!
