Honorary Gifts Honorary gifts are a meaningful way to pay tribute to family, friends, and loved ones. Honorary gifts typically recognize a special occasion (birthday, holiday, anniversary, retirement, etc.), or can recognize the honoree’s importance in a donor's life. Any type of gift can be designated as an honorary gift. The Adaptive Sports Center will recognize both the donor and the honoree in the Adaptive Sports Center annual report. Memorial Gifts Memorial gifts are a special way to honor a friend or loved one who has passed away. Any type of gift can be designated as a memorial gift. The Adaptive Sports Center will recognize the donor's loved one in the Adaptive Sports Center annual report. Adaptive Memorial Garden The Adaptive Sports Center is creating the Adaptive Memorial Garden as a place to honor loved ones while helping sustain the future of adaptive sports. Located in the courtyard on the southwest corner of the Kelsey Wright Building, the garden will feature a steel Ovoid sculpture by local blacksmith Ben Eaton, symbolizing rebirth and new beginnings. Families and friends can create a lasting memorial through a gift of $5,000 or more. Each memorial plaque will feature the name and birth and departure years of a loved one, honoring their life while helping support the Adaptive Sports Center's mission. To learn more about the Adaptive Memorial Garden, visit the memorial page or contact Allison Butcher, Development Director, at allison@adaptivesports.org or 970-349-2296 ext. 107.
