CRESTED BUTTE, COLORADO - Adaptive Sports Center continues its partnership with American Supply Association (ASA) this fall with our Operation Rise and Conquer program, which helps provide high-quality adventure activities for military service personnel and first responders with disabilities. Did you know that Adaptive Sports Center has a long history of working with active duty military and veterans with disabilities? Back in the early 1990's, the Adaptive Sports Center was selected to host the National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic which introduced military servicemen and women with disabilities to skiing and snowboarding. We are committed to the men and women who have served our country, and appreciate your commitment to making a difference with Operation Rise and Conquer. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's another example of how your Operation Rise and Conquer contribution can make an impact with the groups that visit Adaptive Sports Center: Darol Kubacz and his wife Cheryl came to Adaptive Sports Center in February 2017 for Warfighter Sports Week. Programs at the Adaptive Sports Center are fully inclusive to family and close friends, allowing the Kubacz's to push past their perceived limitations and experience success together as a family. As Darol stated during his week in Crested Butte, “for me to be able to do this with [my wife] is so much more important than me doing it on my own, so we’re both winning.” Check out this video to learn more about the Kubacz's and how Operation Rise and Conquer changed their lives: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please consider making a donation to Operation Rise and Conquer so we can continue to serve the men and women who protect us every day.
