NOW ACCEPTING WINTER VOLUNTEERS!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Adaptive Sports Center! Winter volunteer applications are now open! Please complete a winter volunteer application and we will contact you about upcoming opportunities.  We are looking forward to another great season at the ASC!  Please reach out to Anna Legere at anna@adaptivesports.org if you have any questions.

If you are interested in volunteering next summer, please complete our ASC Volunteer Interest Form.  We will reach out when our Summer 2025 volunteer application becomes available.

Is volunteering with the ASC this season a good fit for you?

We are looking for volunteers who are mission focused and able to be flexible in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. We know client time is most valued, so this will continue to be the main focus of volunteering.

General policies and updates:

  • Volunteer shifts are from 9:00am to 4:00pm, 9:00am to 12:15, or 12:30 to 4:00pm.

  • Volunteers receive a 45 minute lunch break between morning and afternoon sessions.

  • Volunteers must be intermediate or advanced skiers or snowboarders.

  • All volunteers must agree to a federal background check (every two years).

  • Volunteers are required to attend training in November/December.

  • The minimum age to volunteer with the ASC is 16.

Winter Pass Volunteer - All pass postitions have been filled. Check out our non pass program below!

As a Winter Pass Volunteer, you will team up with our instructors on the hill one day a week (+5 extra days during busy times) in exchange for a CBMR ski pass. You will demo ski drills, lift and load sit skis or act as a “ski buddy” for a family member or friend of a participant with a disability. Some participants travel from across the country to visit us, while others are full time local residents. Volunteers with a passion for the outdoors will assist people with disabilities and contribute to their amazing experience with the ASC.

Interested in being a pass volunteer but already purchased your Epic pass? Through Vail, we are able to offer reimbursement for your pass. The ASC pass is a CBMR specific pass.

Applications are now closed for the 24/25 winter season.

If you have any questions about our volunteer team please reach out to Anna Legere at volunteer@adaptivesports.org for more information.

Non-Pass Volunteer:

A non-pass volunteer will have the same responsibilities and experiences as a pass volunteer, but you can make your own schedule. Want to volunteer once a week? Great! Once a month? Perfect! Once a season? We can make it work.

Applications are now open for the 24/25 winter season. Apply to be a Non-Pass Volunteer here.

If you have any questions about our volunteer team, please reach out to Anna Legere at volunteer@adaptivesports.org for more information.
