How did you come to work at the ASC?
While completing a TR internship at another adaptive outdoor recreation facility, I fell in love with the work, and I knew I wanted to be in this field. After gaining more technical skills as a whitewater/paddle guide, going to grad school, and taking a career detour in fitness, I finally have been able to re-route my path towards working in adaptive outdoor rec. I had heard about the ASC several years ago and knew I wanted to apply if I was given the chance, because I love their mission and what they are doing…so now, here I am!
What is your favorite part about working for the ASC?
I love getting to see people grow and flourish in the outdoors. It’s so exciting to see someone learn a new skill and become more confident and empowered to participate in the outdoors!
What’s a fun fact about you?
Cold brew coffee and dark chocolate are my kryptonite. I also have a cat that plays fetch :)
